Your home needs to keep pace with how you evolve

You’re not the same person you were five years ago. Your priorities have shifted. Your daily life looks different. Maybe your family has changed, your work has evolved, or your values have deepened.

If your home is still designed for who you were rather than who you are, it’s creating friction you might not even recognize. Regular reevaluation isn’t about following trends or keeping up with what’s new—it’s about making sure your environment continues to support your actual life. Not the life you used to have.

There’s a difference between following the process and doing the work

You can go through all the right steps, apply all the right wellness design principles—and still not get where you want to go. Because there’s a level of work beyond just following the process.

Most people stop when things are “good enough.” They’ve checked the boxes. Made improvements. Got closer to what they wanted.

But getting to the next level—the place where your home actually helps you thrive rather than just function—requires pushing past “good enough.” It’s easy to say you’ve done the deeper work we complete with the Resonant Space framework without actually digging deep.

Being honest with yourself about what you need from your home and your life can make you feel more vulnerable than most people realize.

That’s harder work. It’s why many people remain dissatisfied even after investing significant time and money into their homes.

Your built environment affects everything else in your life

You invest in your health. You work out, eat well, take supplements, prioritize sleep. But if your built environment isn’t supporting those efforts, it can undermine everything you’re doing for your personal health and wellness.

To do this you’ll need to revisit your why. And if you haven’t articulated it before, do it now. If you did it years ago, recognize that it’s likely evolved.

Your why might have changed because your life circumstances changed.

New family members. Different work. Shifted priorities. Changed values.

Once you have clarity on your current why and who you are now, evaluate whether your space aligns.

And so I think ultimately, Harmony really becomes this just, powerful entity and well-being that’s supporting you. Yeah. Harmony is what we’re going for. Harmony is the evolution of life. And so finding true harmony is moving with those changes and growing.

And and now what we know is our more mature or our older self is quite different from our younger self. And so our space is reflect that. It reflects who we are. We have a lot of business owner clients and, Harmony is about finding that balance not only for yourself and your employees, but for your customers. And so, you know, really making sure that your space is designed to fit your not only your why, but your brand identity to fit the functionality and the behaviors of the space, that there’s enough storage that the flow is proper, that, the space is supporting your, your business in such a way that it’s effortless, for your not only for your employees, but for your customers, too.

Yeah, that that’s definitely, a big point is that as we continue to change and grow, that, you know, as your business grows, you know, you’re going to need different things. And so even being able to think ahead, and kind of plant those seeds for, you know, future growth, I think is always just a great way to think about harmony as well, and not only what you need today, but, you know, what might you need a year from now.

And so take it from a business owner of 20 years and, you know, the way I, I got to where I am is by learning and growing, throughout the seasons, throughout the, the growth steps in the company. So we’re smarter, in that the spaces are really supporting us from, the perspective of that life evolves and that it’s okay to change and it’s okay to to look back and see where we came from. But when you have harmony and you have that balance in in this space, and it might be speaking to you kind of quietly, but it definitely it’s something that you can feel. I think that’s a good point. And so it’s very easy to identify when you don’t have harmony. It’s real simple. Yeah. If there’s friction in the space, you don’t have a harmonious space. And that’s not supporting your well-being.
